Trade Compliance is a key part of the Digitec Galaxus Supply Chain, covering all customs processes and serving as a crucial interface between Logistics, Procurement, Suppliers and Customs Authorities. You now have the opportunity to take this area to a whole new level.

Above all, you bring a strong hands-on mentality to the role.

• Take ownership of all customs clearance processes and ensure that all related tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Lead the Trade Compliance team both professionally and disciplinarily across Germany and Switzerland
• Contribute actively to projects requiring customs expertise, continuously improving processes and developing scalable solutions
• Monitor customs clearance costs and take responsibility for the internal control system
• Act as the Supply Chain Management representative in daily interactions with suppliers and internal stakeholders, while advising Category Management on customs, Incoterms and related topics
• Represent the company as the designated customs representative towards authorities and ensure that all necessary permits and authorisations are maintained at all times

• Completed degree in Business Administration, International Business, Business Law, Logistics or a related field, or commercial apprenticeship with further qualification as a Foreign Trade Specialist, Customs Specialist or Trade Compliance Manager
• Several years of professional experience in customs and import/export operations, ideally with initial leadership experience
• Solid knowledge of cross-border e-commerce specifics, including Swiss customs law
• Experience with customs software, ERP systems and the automation of Trade Compliance processes
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, a high degree of ownership and experience in project management
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong stakeholder management skills and proven ability to collaborate across Logistics, Finance, IT and external service providers
• You build trust through consistent and reliable actions
